From Zoo Sim Central
Zoo Tycoon 2 animals are priced in a rather specific manner, with only limited exceptions. This pattern has not quite been followed in most of the user-made expansion packs that have followed since. ZooSimCentral plans to host hacks to fix these to fall more in line.
These pricings are mostly standard with the exception of Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals which introduced a higher pricing for its animals (including raising the prices of the animals previously included in Zoo Tycoon 2: Dino Danger Pack.
